Keyboard Shortcuts

Alt + Enter	Inserts a line break when entering cell content in Jedox Spreadsheets. (for Internet Explorer you have to use Ctrl + Alt + Enter )
Alt + F11	Opens the macro window from a spreadsheet in Designer.
Ctrl + Delete	In a cell with a PALO.DATA formula, Ctrl + Delete writes the value "0" (zero) in a numeric cell or an empty string in a string cell without deleting the existing formula. On consolidated numeric cells, the whole cube slice will be cleared. In the Reports mode of Jedox Web, you can achieve the same result in unlocked cells by using the Delete key alone.
Ctrl + Enter	Deactivates an array function by selecting the whole function array and using this shortcut in the formula bar at the end of the function.
Ctrl + selected cells	To add a value to various, noncontinuous cells, select one cell, then hold the Ctrl key and select additional cells. Once the cells have been selected, enter the value and press the ENTER key. The value will then be applied to all of the selected cells.You can also use input via a data validation list or the copy command. Note: it is not necessary to press Ctrl + Enter, as it is with Microsoft Excel.
Ctrl + Shift + Enter	Activates an array function by selecting the whole function array and using this shortcut in the formula bar at the end of the function.
Ctrl + Q	Rebuilds a Jedox View.
Esc	Cancels changes to a formula (same as clicking the X button on the toolbar).
F4	Changes the type of a cell reference (adds or removes the $ character). It works after you have selected a part of the formula that is either a cell reference (i.e., A1) or a range reference (i.e., A1:A4).
F9	Evaluates expressions in formulas and parts of formulas.
Page Up, Page Down	Navigates up and down in Jedox Spreadsheets.
Shift + Enter	Closes the current cell if input mode is active and selects only the one above it.
Shift + Tab	Closes the current cell if input mode is active and selects only the one on its left.

Note: When you use tabs and arrow keys to navigate between unlocked cells in Reports or in the User Mode of the Designer, the behavior can be inconsistent if you navigate to unlocked cells positioned outside of the viewport.

Context menu command "Show Error"

With right click on a Jedox Spreadsheet cell you can select the command "Show Error". This command brings up the Cell Error message window. If Jedox recognizes an error, you will receive a more accurate error message. If Jedox recognizes no error, you receive the message: "No error message found".
