"Create" mode in PowerBI Load no longer supported

Power BI has deprecated the creation of new "push datasets", meaning this functionality is no longer supported. With this deprecation, "create" mode is now incompatible with current Power BI service standards, and attempting to use it could lead to unexpected data loss, especially for on-premises setups.

Users are advised to use "insert" or "update" load modes, which remain supported with existing datasets until 31.10.2027. These modes allow you to modify existing records (but not create new ones) in your Power BI datasets without risking deletion.

Cube load option "Deactivate rules calculation"

This option made sense in certain scenarios when the Static Marker Driven Engine had been used. Since this engine was replaced with the Dynamic Marker Driven Engine, there is no need to deactivate rules during a cube load anymore. The deprecation affects cube loads in Integrator, but no action is required.

Binary PHP extensions of Macro Engine in Jedox Cloud

Including such extensions raises a security risk for Jedox Cloud environments. This action is taken to address reported vulnerabilities. Deprecation affects PHP binary extensions (.dll / .so files) that are part of the Macro Engine Configuration. No immediate action is required, but if you're planning to migrate from an on-premises version to Jedox X, then any custom binary extensions added in the Macro Engine Configuration will no longer be available.
