Jedox Web FAQ

I get the error "internal connection invalid" on my Jedox Web login page. What does it mean? What can I do?

This is how the error message shows up on the login page:

By closing the pop-up message, instead of the usual license information under the login button, you will see the same message from the error:

This normally happens when:

  • The SVS cannot start (for example, after changes in the SVS scripts). To solve the problem, check the SVS script or use a sample script in order to start the SVS. Also check afterward what changes led to such behavior.

  • There was a server migration, and after migrating the system database (which includes the users), the internal_suite passwords do not match anymore. The solution is performing correctly the steps for server migration explained in the following articles:

  • The OLAP process is not running. You can start it via Cloud Console. If it doesn't work at all, see the olap_server.log for details on the root cause of the error.

  • In very rare cases, the system database got corrupted. In this case, restore the system database (e.g. restore a non-corrupt system database).
